The enpevet Online Health Assistant for pets is expanding

Hamburg, August 2011 Founded only a year ago, enpevet, the first online health assistant for pets, is acquiring a new family member. The computer application, previously consisting of just three modules, “dog,” “cat,” and “rabbit,” will now be expanded to include a fourth “horse” module. Moreover, starting immediately, enpevet will be fully available to users without commitment and free of charge (www.enpevet.de).

Thus, for the first time, horse owners will also be able to bundle and manage information about their pet in a structured, permanent, and clearly displayed format – and they can accomplish all of this without needing to install any software. As is customary with enpevet, this module can also be employed interactively with the treating veterinarian when appropriate.

The veterinarians who advise enpevet on an ongoing basis are continuously expanding the comprehensive Online Lexicon. Currently, the Lexicon is the equivalent of a 900-page book. Through its articles, pet owners can rapidly obtain a reliable overview about their pet’s health condition by using a range of search options according to keywords or symptoms.

With enpevet, you can document basic data about your pet, such as species, gender, chip number and entire illness histories and series of measurements. At the same time, enpevet can remind you about appointments you have entered – an important feature for immunizations and preventive health examinations, for example.

Since care and feeding information along with your pet’s character features can also be entered in enpevet, its use is optimally suited for those pet owners who occasionally leave their four-legged friends in the temporary care of pet sitters or boarding services. The information stored in enpevet assures that your pet will always be cared for in the best possible way.
